It’s now 5 hours since I saw “This Is It” and my mind is still reeling from it. What an amazing movie…and a great experience. It was SO nice seeing him again… and he was BRILLIANT, as expected of course. Watching the rehearsal clips only affirmed to me what I initially thought and that was that his concert was going to be the most KICKASS show this world has seen. Truly.  The new Thriller performance…holy WOW!! Smooth Criminal…smooth as ever!…Ah-mazing video sequence! The Way You Make Me Feel… PERFECTION. Earth Song…oh God…EPIC. They Don’t Care About Us…straight up BADASSERY…with the video effects, sunset, moves…damn. Human Nature…loooverly vocals. That’s one thing I didn’t expect – was such AMAZING vocals from Michael. I mean, Michael is an AMAZING singer we all know that, but since these were just rehearsals…I knew he wouldn’t be giving his all…and he did still preserve his voice but… WOW. He was still in GREAT voice…just like he was in the Bad era. <3

I smiled ear to ear throughout the entire thing…excluding the beginning when the dancers were being interviewed. I teared up watching how much it meant to them to be dancing with Michael…it was truly a dream come true. I can’t imagine how heartbroken they felt when Michael passed. :’(

Back to the high points though…well, after that the whole movie was a high – I sat completely awestruck as I watched his every move…I payed close attention to all the details and mannerisms. He was so involved in every part of everything he did…sure that each piece was perfectly orchestrated to create a masterpiece of a performance. I could gush about this movie and every bit of his work until the end of time.

I took some video of some clips during the movie…not intended to “bootleg”, I really just wanted to document my experience and remember it forever, so I got a few clips. Here’s some for your viewing pleasure: (beware these are SPOILERS if anyone hasn’t seen the movie yet!)

One of my favorite parts in the movie, which was more about his royal HOTNESS than his talent ;) was during “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You”.  O – M – G. How close and sensual he was dancing with that girl…*GASP*…I about fainted. There was even a moment when he looked like he was about to grab her breast but then had to stop himself. LOL. oh that Michael…such a sexy beast. See for yourself! (I missed recording most of the SEXY clips from this bit…but watch 0:21 for the almost booby grab)

I saw the movie with my Dad and my 4 year old daughter who LOVES Michael. Us and 3 other people were the only ones in the theater today…it was kinda nice…having it that empty. Felt more “personal” that way. But yet, I still wish I was in a bigger city where the theaters would be packed full of cheering and clapping fans! Ah well, it was a great experience nonetheless. :)

Michael, I know you wouldn’t have wanted everyone to see this movie…you being the perfectionist you are. But it has done nothing but fuel more love and appreciation for you and all you did and gave the world with your talents, love and generosity. I miss you so much, and I love you with all my heart. This ISN’T it…you will always be remembered and the spirit of your love and your work has forever impacted us and will continue to inspire others for generations to come.
